Missions

1 Chronicles 16:23–24 (NIV) 23
Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

The ministries of Capistrano Valley Church include local and global outreaches that follow Christ’s command to make known His love and forgiveness to the whole world.

We strive to follow the example of Jesus who loved us and cared for us, by caring for others, using both material and spiritual resources to care for those who are suffering or in need.

We currently prayerfully and financially support ten missionary teams that operate both locally and in far reaches of the world. These include:

• Foundation For His Ministries – Charla and Chuck Pereau
• Leader Mundial – Russ and Gina Cline
• Kairos International – Patrick and Shari Bailey
• Transformed Relationships – Scott Meacham
• Homeword – Jim Burns
• Relationships 180 – Milan and Kay Yerovich
• OCSBA Church Health – Ellis Pitman

Yearly, we send teams comprised of our youth and adult church members to various parts of Mexico to be involved in construction projects, medical outreaches, and other support efforts which demonstrate and define our efforts to make known God’s love of these people.

In the past couple of years we have sent two teams to the Philippians to work alongside Patrick and Shari Bailey as they work with the unreached. Future trips are in the works.

We have in the past sent teams to work with Russ Cline in Ecuador.

We have in the past sent teams to work with Bob Sundberg in Oaxaca, Mexico
